ACTUAL CHINA OUTBREAK FIGURES LEAKED

In Hong Kong, where SARS killed roughly 300 people back in 2003, public-transit workers are threatening to strike if the city government doesn't widen its closures.
The first thing Hong Kong cabbies ask arriving travelers like Paul Mozur is: “Where you coming in from?”
As haunting images from across China and Hong Kong show empty public transit stations, emptying grocery shelves and deserted thoroughfares, Wuhan’s two new hospitals capable of taking some 2,800 coronavirus patients are two fingers in a bulging dike.
EPIDEMIC SITUATION TRACKER
On Feb. 1, China's official Tencent “Epidemic Situation Tracker” webpage, showed confirmed cases of novel coronavirus on the mainland at 154,023 – 10-times the official figure. It listed the number of suspected cases as 79,808 – four-times the official figure.
The death toll in China was 24,589 – vastly higher than the officially permitted 300.
Moments later, Tencent updated the numbers to reflect the government's "official" numbers that day. On at least three occasions Tencent posted extremely high numbers – only to quickly lower them to government-approved stats.

“Many coronavirus patients are unable to receive treatment and die outside of hospitals. Furthermore, a severe shortage of test kits also leads to a lower number of diagnosed cases of infection and death. In addition, there have been many reports of doctors being ordered to list other forms of death instead of coronavirus to keep the death toll artificially low,” Zerohedge reports.
Each time the large numbers appears, a comparison with the previous day's data is shown, which tracks a “reasonable” incremental increase, paralleling much lower comparisons of official numbers.

7 WUHAN CREMATORIA CAN”T KEEP UP
The New Zealand Herald and video bloggers in Wujan report that coronavirus corpses are being cremated in secret.
“A crematorium in Wuhan (note that one of the crematoriums in Wuhan) was filled with ashes, and this was just one day of a crematorium. There are 7 crematoriums in Wuhan.” -post by Harry Chen PhD
DW News East Asia correspondent William Yang cited a report from the credible Chinese-language news outlet Initium, saying cremation facilities in Wuhan are receiving bodies directly from hospitals without proper identification and are being excluded from the official record.
The coronavirus pandemic has “officially” exceeded SARS in cumulative cases in just two weeks.

DON’T LOOK, DON’T SAY
On Jan 29, Zeng Guang, chief scientist of epidemiology at China’s CDC, told the state-run tabloid Global Times why Chinese officials don’t dare tell people the truth. “The officials need to think about the political angle and social stability in order to keep their positions,” Zeng said.
At a rare meeting of top party, leaders Premiere Xi sternly warned officials that the outcome of their efforts would "directly impact social stability in the country."
More than 400 local officials have already been officially punished for dereliction of duty, despite complaints from the Mayor of Wuhan and others that Beijing tied their hands.
