BELFORT CHEMTRAILS SYMPOSIUM A SUCCESS

"Chemtrails: International Symposium in Belgium a Success" reports Karen Stephenson. She writes: "On Friday, May 28, 2010, the mayor of Ghent, Daniël Termont welcomed The Belfort Group, the Capodistrias-Spinelli Europe Initiative, individuals representing the city of Aigina in Greece and international guests to the Chemtrail International Symposium. His welcome speech kicked off the weekend-long symposium that brought professionals and concerned citizens together to get answers to the chemtrail phenomenon.

The Belgian Belfort-group's international symposium was held on: The Illegal Spraying Of Harmful Substances In The Atmosphere By Airplanes Also Known As 'Chemtrails'.

"Michael Murphy, a journalist and political activist from California lectured about the dangers of geo-engineering.

"Stijn Helsen spoke about how there is a distinct difference between contrails and chemtrails.

Peter Vereecke, the former mayor of Evergem, Belgium told attendees, "Don't confuse this with contrails. Those are harmless condensation trails that are only visible for a few seconds. On the other hand chemtrails are clouds of chemicals."

Far from harmless, contrails are significant contributors to global warming.

Peter Vereecke was thrilled with the Belfort Group's first Chemtrail International Symposium and hopes many people become active. "The chemtrails are not up there every day, maybe ten days in a month. But people need to look in the sky every day and do research," Vereecke said. [Belfort Group; KSLA News12]

Highlight was the presentation of "Case Orange". This 300-page scientific report (with 177 footnotes) was compiled "on behalf of the Belfort-group and of humanity by a team of experts" with relevant aviation backgrounds. "The authors are inside experts. They know what they are talking about!" Peter Vereecke declared.

Vereecke has personally delivered the "Case Orange" document to the Brussels headquarter of UNO and NATO, as well as the embassies of the USA, UK, Germany, France, Iran, Russia, China and Venezuela.

He also sent it to all press agencies and all embassies.

On August 17, 2009 Peter Vereecke "personally lodged a complaint with the Belgian Justice department against the intentional and systematically spraying of heavy metals, chemical substances and virological filth into our atmosphere."

As a result, he reports, since October 2009 there is "an ongoing investigation into this matter."

The former mayor of Evergem and founder of the Belfort-group is now preparing to lodge two additional complaints with the International Court of Justice, The Hague and the European court of human rights in Strasbourg.

Reporter Jeff Ferrell spoke to an Arkansas man who collected water samples after chemtrails formed clouds and was alarmed with his findings. KSLA News 12 collected water samples after chemtrailing and had the water analyzed. They discovered barium levels were at 6.8 parts per million which is 3 times the toxic level set by the E.P.A.


REACTION FROM GREECE TO H.O.M.E CAMPAIGN TO BLOCK GEOENGINEERING
Dear Hands off Mother Earth,

Our organization wishes to express its unconditional support for your rejection of atmospheric geoengineering and your campaign against it, including the moratorium recommendation to be submitted in October to the United Nations Convention on Biological Diversity.

We would like to be listed among the organizations supporting the H.O.M.E. campaign. We note that the Capodistrias-Spinelli-Europe initiative and the Belfort group, with whom we have a relationship of collaboration, have been included in the list of supporting organizations and we would like similar recognition to be given to the support we offer.

Our opposition to atmospheric geoengineering broadly coincides with the opposition expressed at the May 2010 Belfort group symposium in Ghent, Belgium on "the illegal spraying of harmful substances in the atmosphere by airplanes", as registered in the "Case Orange" report commissioned by the organizers of that symposium and reviewed at the symposium by the scientist Coen Vermeeren.

The conclusions of the Case Orange report are significantly different from those of Hands off Mother Earth, particularly in relation to recognition of atmospheric geoengineering not as a proposal or a practice at most in a preliminary experimental stage but rather as a well-entrenched, and systematically denied, planetary reality.

We would like to invite you to explain the factors, political and/or legal, that prevent you from reaching the same conclusions as the Case Orange report in this respect. It is quite possible to do this without modifying or altering your public stance.

We would like to emphasize that we do NOT wish to conduct a "scientific" debate with you. Our fear is that such a debate could resemble the street debate conducted in San Diego in February 2010 between scientist Alan Robock, known as a "critic" of geoengineering, and activists.

This debate was degrading for both parties, exposing the activists as naïve and Dr. Robock as an insincere politician, not a scientist researching and describing reality.

We would appreciate a written reply to this message. We propose at some future date, when we are in a position to conduct a symposium ourselves, to invite you to it so that a similar discussion may be conducted there also, hopefully with more public involvement and participation.

In the meantime, please continue, with our support, your campaign in the international organizations and keep us informed of your progress.
